About Trina Palmore:
Trina Palmore, born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, is proud to say it is the city where she does business and enjoys involving herself in the community. She attended Barclay Elementary School, Leith Walk Elementary School, and Chinquapin Middle School. She went on to an all-girl public high school – Western High (“Go Doves!”). Trina attended college at Towson University, where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications Studies. She is the Founder/CEO of Solomon’s Financial Group. She holds licenses, training, and certifications in multiple financial services disciplines.
Trina’s business philosophy is guided by her strong commitment to community and faith. “I love teaching financial principles. So often everything in our lives is rushed- work, school, and play. I never want to rush my clients into making decisions, haste makes waste. So, during the time I spend with them, I want to always provide opportunities to discuss their needs and work at a comfortable pace.” She desires establishing a trusted relationship with each person. Trina genuinely believes trust leads to confidence, confidence leads to knowledge, knowledge leads to wisdom, and wisdom leads to sustained increased generational wealth!
While collaborating with clients, Trina emphasizes the importance of financial planning, so people will fully know what to expect from their portfolios moving forward. This involves devoting a percentage of secured income to every financial portfolio as a way of offsetting risks in other segments of the portfolio. Her discovery process often includes an organized system of collecting data she calls A.L.P.I.E.—Assets, Liabilities, Policies, Income & Expenses. Analyzing clients’ ALPIE to make well-thought-out, strategized recommendations is what she does best. Solomon’s Financial Group implements those agreed-upon recommendations/strategies. With this company, clients can rest assured Trina will account for every financial detail.
Her mantra is, “if you chase money (or anything, really) it will run from you. You need to position your assets to let the money come to you!” That is what she helps her clients achieve. To best serve clients, Solomon’s staff work unconventional business hours to accommodate working class people. “I want to ensure my clients are ‘Heard,’ and that their concerns are met in a timely manner,” says Trina.
Trina is a member of The Minister’s Conference of Baltimore and Vicinity, The United Baptist Missionary Convention of Baltimore, NABIP, NAIFA, and The Rotary Club of Baltimore.
In her time away from the office, she serves as the Associate Pastor of The New Good Samaritan Missionary Baptist Church in Baltimore. She is a board member and Chair of the Housing Committee for Bridge MD Inc. Additionally, she serves as Secretary of the State Center Neighborhood Alliance. You can hear Trina every Thursday as a host on the “Seniors Taking Action” radio show, airing from the Dr. Cathy Hughes studio 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on 1010 WOLB. She is most proud of serving her family, friends, community, and clients!
For leisure, Trina loves hanging on the beach, dancing to Chicago-style house music (her favorite genre!), listening to old school Hip-hop and classical music. She also enjoys sewing, cooking, and yoga.
